Single-Axle Pontoon Trailer Rental

Single-axle trailers are generally suited to smaller, lighter boats and can be easier to maneuver. However, the tow vehicle must still have sufficient towing capacity and the appropriate hitch for the combined trailer, boat, motor and gear weight.

Tandem-Axle Pontoon Trailer Rental

Tandem-axle trailers use two axles instead of one, helping distribute the weight of the pontoon, motor and onboard equipment across four wheels. This configuration generally provides greater load capacity and stability than a single-axle trailer, making it a common choice for mid-size and larger pontoons and tri-toons.

Heavy-duty pontoon trailer rental

Large pontoons, tri-toons and heavier commercial boats may require higher-capacity or multi-axle equipment. Reinforced construction can accommodate greater loads while improving stability. For unusual boat dimensions or configurations, ask Rocket Marine about custom-spec aluminum trailer options.

  • $100 security deposit due at time of booking.

  • Deposit will be forfeited if reservation is canceled by renter.

  • Deposit will be refunded upon return of rental, minus deductions for any damage and/or loss.

  • Additional loss, damage, and any tolls incurred during rental period will be charged to renter.

  • Our trailers have 5-pin flat electrical connectors

  • Safety tie-downs and straps are the renter's responsibility.

  • Proper maintenance checks before rental can prevent towing issues.

  • Driver’s license, credit card, and insurance card required at time of pickup

  • Trailer rentals are for the State of Florida only. Rented trailers must not leave the State.

  • Rocket Marine is not responsible for any damages to your boat or vessel that may occur during use of the rental trailer.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Choose a trailer based on both boat length and loaded weight, including the motor, fuel and gear. The trailer’s load capacity and GVWR must be appropriate for the complete load.

  • Check your vehicle’s towing capacity, hitch rating, ball size and electrical connection. Depending on the trailer, a compatible brake controller or braking system may also be necessary. 

  • Inclusions vary by rental provider. Review the agreement before pickup and document the trailer’s condition with photos. Rocket Marine requires a driver’s license, credit card and insurance card at pickup and holds renters responsible for additional loss, damage and tolls.
